Jaymee Kiefer

Founder and Operator

Jaymee Kiefer is the founder of Prep Smart Solution, a business born from lived experience and fierce determination. As a Marine Corps wife of over 12 years, Jaymee has spent over a decade navigating the unpredictable world of military life. She has managed relocations, deployments, and crisis situations while raising three medically complex children with extensive care needs.

Her day-to-day life includes coordinating multiple specialists, handling medical emergencies, managing medications, therapy schedules, and maintaining detailed documentation. This demanding lifestyle has given her firsthand insight into what it truly takes to stay organized and calm in the face of chaos.

Jaymee has lived across the United States, experiencing a wide range of natural and man-made disasters including wildfires, hurricanes, blackouts, evacuations, floods, and civil unrest—often while her husband was away on duty. During these events, she not only protected her children but also cared for animals, including two dogs, a cat, and livestock, adding rural preparedness to her expertise.

In addition to being a full-time caregiver, Jaymee also manages her own chronic medical conditions, giving her a unique and empathetic perspective on the needs of caregivers and medically vulnerable families. She knows the burden of planning for emergencies when life already feels like one.

Driven by her family's needs and the gaps she discovered in the available resources, Jaymee created Prep Smart Solution to serve families like hers—those who need real-world, compassionate, and customizable emergency and medical preparedness tools, helping them stay organized, prepared and resilient. Jaymee’s goal is to provide real-world tools, education, and peace of mind to families who need more than a generic emergency checklist.

Combining the strength of a military spouse, the resilience of a medical mom, and the insight of a survivor who has lived the emergencies others only plan for, she brings personal insight and strategic thinking to every product and service the company offers. Her mission is to equip families with everything they need to face any crisis—prepared, protected, and empowered.
